Job description
This is the single technical thread from first discovery call through to a customer operating in production. Sitting within the Commercial Organization, the Senior Solutions Engineer bridges pre-sales and delivery - owning the solution design that underpins the commercial proposal and staying accountable through go-live. That continuity is the point. What You’ll Do Discovery: Run technical and process discovery with customers across supply chain, quality, logistics, and IT - uncovering current-state workflows, data sources, systems, and constraints. Pre-sales: Deliver tailored demonstrations mapped to the customer’s own lanes, products, and release processes - not a standard script - and handle technical objections in the room. Solutioning: Own the initial solution design and solution map: which modules apply, what data is required, which integrations are in play, what is phased, and what is out of scope. Scoping: Translate solution designs into sequenced statements of work and implementation plans, sizing effort honestly and surfacing long-lead items before they become commitments. Commercial support: Partner with Sales leadership on proposals and order forms, ensuring everything committed commercially is technically deliverable. Delivery: Carry your design into delivery - lead solution workshops, guide configuration of lane qualification, command center, and automated product release modules, and stay accountable through go-live. Cross-functional coordination: Sequence deliverables and manage technical handoffs across Product, Data, and Engineering while feeding real customer patterns back into the roadmap. Repeatability: Build reusable assets - reference solution designs, discovery question banks, scoping templates, and integration patterns - that make the next deal faster.
