Job description

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise software applications in a Microsoft Windows environment., * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services.

  • Develop readable, maintainable, and secure software.
  • Troubleshoot application defects and production issues.
  • Review code and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Work with customers and team members to clarify requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in planning, code reviews, testing, and software releases.
  • Support and improve existing applications, including legacy systems.

Requirements

The team primarily develops in C# and .NET. Candidates with strong experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate should be able to become productive in C# within the first several months., * 6 or more years of professional software development experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, Kotlin, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and common software design patterns.
  • Experience developing and supporting business or enterprise applications.
  • Experience with source control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience working with relational databases, web services, or application integrations.
  • Ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with C# and .NET.
  • Experience with PowerShell or another scripting language.
  • Experience developing web APIs, Windows services, desktop applications, or web applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and IIS environments.
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Experience working with AWS and Azure
  • Experience using GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Confluence
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methods.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled application capabilities, including the secure use and validation of generated code and content.
