Job description

As we continue to evolve, we recognize the need for enhanced technology. Azura Credit Union is adding a Software Developer, who will be responsible for creating software that will meet requirements of organizational processes. Work will involve establishing code and documentation workflow for all applications created and consulting on the scope of new projects to determine feasibility and requirements of resources., * Setup and maintain development environment and version control system.

  • Establish and maintain documentation procedures for all code submissions.
  • Establish a workflow for code submission, review and approval.
  • Perform full stack web development for custom applications that meet business needs.
  • Develop API interfaces for other web applications.
  • Integrate with multiple REST and SOAP API’s.
  • Develop applications to integrate with databases and multiple data sources.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, improve performance, and upgrade functionality.
  • Consult with project manager on feasibility of projects.
  • Assist with scoping new development projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of similar or related experience including full-stack web application development.
  • BA in Computer Science or comparable training and/or certification.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Thoroughness and good follow through skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop web applications with HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Ability to demonstrate skill with required languages.
  • Ability to document and test through software lifecycle.
  • Other language/framework a plus.
  • Mobile Development a plus., * Bachelor’s (Preferred), * Full-stack web development: 3 years (Required)
  • Symitar / Banking Core System: 3 years (Preferred)
  • banking: 3 years (Preferred)
