Mainframe Systems Programmer

Looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our operations team. You’ll design, install, configure, and maintain z/OS and z/VM platforms to ensure mission-critical availability, security, and performance.

Key highlights:

• z/OS: USS, SMP/E installs & upgrades, HCD/IODF, capacity planning, RMF/SMF tuning, SMS/DASD/catalog management, ISV product support, RACF collaboration.
• z/VM: CP/CMS administration, RACF for z/VM, GCS/VM-VTAM/RSCS support, VM guest management, Linux on IBM Z support.
• General: incident troubleshooting, runbooks & docs, change windows, cross-team collaboration, on-call support, mentoring junior staff.

• Bachelor’s in CS/IT or equivalent experience
• 5+ years hands-on z/OS and z/VM systems programming
• Strong skills in SMP/E, HCD/IODF, RMF/SMF, RACF, JCL/REXX, DASD management
• Proven troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Automation/configuration tooling experience, containerized workloads on IBM Z, HA/DR planning, IBM certifications
