Job description

Our Data Science and Analytics team has an excellent opportunity for Data Visualization Analyst Developer.

Day to day, you’ll…

  • Design, implement, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations - acting as a visualization and business-intelligence subject-matter expert
  • Provide consultation to end users and cross-functional teams to address business issues, producing datasets and reports via reporting tools
  • Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to deliver insights to decision-makers
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to understand key influences on business outcomes
  • Support strategic initiatives by building tactical plans and recommendations based on business data and market knowledge
  • Create specifications for reports/analyses based on business needs and available data
  • Engage in continuous improvement of existing programs and ownership of projects/programs
  • Work with minimal direction under a given strategy; coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
  • Apply design thinking to improve the effectiveness and usability of deliverables (dashboards, visualizations, reports)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
  • 2 years minimum related work experience
  • Experience with SQL
  • Proficiency with one or more visualization/BI tools/PowerBI
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations
  • Experience working cross-functionally with different teams to implement data models and monitor results
  • Ability to create business cases, generate innovative ideas, and provide strategic/tactical recommendations based on data
