Job description

We are seeking a motivated and curious Seasonal Associate, Cloud Engineer (AWS / Azure) to join our team and support the development and administration of cloud infrastructure within AWS and Azure environments. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in cloud governance, security, and automation while contributing to the evolution of our Fathom Platform within the SCS environment ., * Assist in the administration and governance of AWS and Azure organizations.

  • Support cloud infrastructure projects including VPC design, firewall configuration, and IAM policy management.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement and maintain cloud security tools and automation pipelines.
  • Contribute to the deployment and management of cloud-native products and services.
  • Work with tools such as GitHub Actions , Pulumi , and Fortigate to support infrastructure as code and network security.
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and documentation efforts.

  • DevOps Tools: GitHub Actions, Pulumi
  • Security: Fortigate, * Work on impactful cloud projects in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
  • Gain exposure to enterprise cloud architecture and DevSecOps practices.
  • Flexible work arrangements and mentorship from experienced cloud engineers.

Requirements

  • A completed bachelor’s degree.
  • By start date, acceptance/enrollment verification, or at least 9 credit hours of completed graduate-level courses preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Must be able to pass any required background check(s), which may include drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
  • AWS or Azure Associate Certification (or actively pursuing).
  • Basic understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security principles.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
