Head of Business Intelligence and Platforms Manager

Experteer Overview In this leadership role, you will shape the BI strategy and platform management for a global Life Science BD organization. You’ll own core platforms that power business decisions and translate data into actionable insights to accelerate growth. You’ll collaborate across BD, Legal, Finance, IT, Product, and AI/Data Analytics teams to optimize technology use and drive high-impact outcomes. This position offers influence over platform governance, analytics standards, and AI-enabled reporting in a regulated, matrixed environment. Compensation / Benefits * Manage the royalty management platform and related business platforms, ensuring governance, access, training, and continuous improvement. * Maintain a platform enhancement backlog balancing user needs, compliance, and risk. * Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and operational scorecards for royalty management, deal flow, contract compliance, and leadership decisions. * Analyze data across Foundry, SFDC, ERP systems, royalty platforms, contract systems, finance systems, and data lakes to identify trends, risks, and process improvements. * Deliver actionable insights by explaining drivers, root causes, risks, and recommending practical actions to improve outcomes. * Build reusable analytics assets and self-service reporting to reduce manual work and improve decision-making consistency. * Apply AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, identify anomalies, and accelerate insight generation; support responsible AI adoption. * Develop and monitor KPIs for platform performance, royalty operations, data quality, and process effectiveness; perform root cause analysis for incidents and reporting issues. Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Life Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience * Proven track record of owning and optimizing enterprise platforms in a complex, matrixed organization * Strong business analytics skills across data extraction, analysis, dashboard development, KPI reporting, and insight generation * Hands-on experience with Foundry, SFDC, SAP/Oracle ERP, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Snowflake, data lakes, royalty management platforms, and contract management systems * Ability to interpret complex datasets, derive business implications, and deliver concise recommendations for strategic decisions * Experience using AI-enabled tools or automation to improve analytics and reporting workflows * Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills Key requirements * health insurance * PTO * retirement contributions * other perquisites
