Job description
This role will serve as the central coordination point for identifying, tracking, validating, and managing data needs by site. The M&A Data Coordination Lead will work closely with Site Project Managers, Application Workstreams, Manufacturing stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams to ensure that required data is identified, prepared, validated, transferred, and available according to program timelines and established data standards.
The ideal candidate is a mid-senior level Project Manager / Project Coordinator with experience supporting data-related projects, application migrations, system transitions, or M&A separation initiatives. This position does not require a deep technical data engineering background; however, the candidate should have a strong understanding of data coordination, data readiness, data quality, project governance, dependency tracking, and stakeholder management.
The role will support multiple sites simultaneously and ensure that data-related activities are effectively integrated into each site’s overall separation and cutover plan.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
M&A Data Coordination
- Coordinate end-to-end data requirements for all site separation initiatives.
- Serve as the primary coordination point for data-related activities across sites, applications, and manufacturing systems.
- Work closely with Site Project Managers to understand site-specific data requirements, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Maintain visibility into data requirements and readiness across multiple site separation projects.
- Ensure data activities are incorporated into overall site separation schedules and cutover plans.
- Coordinate activities across geographically distributed project and technical teams.
For each site, coordinate and track data requirements associated with:
- Enterprise applications
- Manufacturing applications
- ERP systems
- Business applications
- Operational technology applications, where applicable
- Historical and transactional data
- Master data
- Reporting and analytics requirements
- Data migration activities
- Data retention and archival requirements
- Data extracts and transfers
- Business validation
Support M&A program governance by preparing and maintaining data-related status information. Provide regular reporting on:
- Data readiness by site
- Data readiness by application
- Key milestones
- Open actions
- Risks and issues
- Dependencies
- Data-quality concerns
- Upcoming cutover activities
- Decisions requiring escalation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of overall project management, project coordination, PMO, or technology delivery experience.
- 3+ years supporting data-related projects, application implementations, migrations, or technology-transformation initiatives.
- 3+ years experience coordinating data requirements, data migration, data readiness, data validation, or data-quality activities., * 8+ years of experience supporting M&A integration, divestiture, carve-out, site separation, or technology transition programs.
- 5+ years of experience working with manufacturing sites and manufacturing applications.
- 5+ years of previous experience as a Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, PMO Analyst, Data Project Coordinator, or Data Migration Coordinator.
- Experience coordinating data migration or application migration projects.
- Understanding of:
- Master data
- Transactional data
- Data extraction
- Data cleansing
- Data migration
- Data validation
- Data reconciliation
- Data governance
- Experience supporting ERP or enterprise application programs involving platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
- Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with enterprise PMO governance practices.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Benefits & conditions
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $87,952 - 162,875. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
