Senior Systems Engineer

• Perform full incident lifecycle from escalation to resolution and problem management; prepares and delivers presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and government representatives.
• Assures the proper use of current or requested testing and documentation techniques; produces, reviews substantive and complex documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of areas as identified in the statement of work.
• Triage, collect troubleshooting information, apply known solutions; create, direct, and resolve requests
• Perform routine system operations such as health checks, administer backup and restores, execute configuration changes
• Conduct system analysis and provide input to Microsoft engineering continuous improvement process.
• Participate in prime & customer change control/engineering management processes; document changes to all systems; coordinate and complete deployments and upgrades with Azure Engineering and the customer.
• Develop automation for most common tasks; maintain pre-production and production environments and associated code repository.

This is an onsite position., * Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 15 years of related experience; or Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 12 years of related experience.

• IAT Level 2 certification(s)
• Experience with Sentris and MS Windows Based Applications in Mid-to-Large Environments; experience with Active Directory Domain Services
• Exchange 2019, SharePoint Server 2019, SQL Server 2019, Skype for Business 2019
• Experience managing a schedule and communicating scheduling requirements to management, multi-tasking/prioritizing responsibilities and responding rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to successfully pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for SAP.
• Periodic Review within 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
• Must be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery

• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and

• customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
