Job description

The Network Partner Engagement Director supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by leading the team responsible for initiating onboarding and thanking of new churches, identifying churches with the potential to become major partners, and then assisting in scheduling first time appointments with a Network Relations Director. This position ensures that churches have a great first gift experience with Convoy of Hope. This position serves as a coach/player role for the Network Partner Engagement Team., * Oversees, trains, and directs the Network Partner Engagement Representatives in all aspects of assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Creates, implements, and manages strategic processes for the Network Partner Engagement Team.
  • Directs the team in meeting KPI goals both individually and as a team.
  • As a coach/player role, places donor focused thank you calls within 24-48 of receiving first time gifts from new churches.
  • Manages new church data entry and input into Salesforce.
  • Identifies churches with the potential to become major partners and then assists in securing first time appointments with Network Directors.
  • Places outbound calls to churches for follow-up or engagement - including “thank you” and impact-of-giving conversations with recurring church supporters or those who have upgraded their gift amounts.
  • Follows-up on leads received at conferences or via MarCom communications.
  • Receives incoming phone calls and processes email inquiries from churches.
  • Oversees the first-gift experience for new churches.
  • Collaborates with Network Directors and staff to best serve churches and streamline with current processes.
  • Fulfills all other duties as assigned., * As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization’s religious purposes for which it exists and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.
  • Demonstrates cultural awareness, humility and an ability to learn from international colleagues to strengthen global collaboration.
  • All team members are expected to contribute to the successful coordination and delivery of major organizational events (IWD, etc), working cooperatively across working groups as needed.
  • Attends and actively participates in COH At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
  • Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
  • Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.

Requirements

  • Three years’ experience in a customer service role is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exhibits ability to manage difficult situations and individuals with tact and professionalism.
  • Has a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude that can be discerned through the phone by customers.
  • Demonstrates strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills.
  • Able and willing to travel, both domestically and internationally as requested.
  • Exhibits strong Mac or PC proficiency and working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn Salesforce or other CRM systems as needed.
  • Possesses the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age to be eligible for this position due to organizational driving and insurance requirements.
