Job description

We are looking for a recent graduate to help modernize warehouse operations through data, technology, and automation.

The primary focus of this role is using Power BI, Python, and SQL to analyze data and improve warehouse processes as part of our Smart Connected Warehouse initiative.

A Smart Connected Warehouse uses technologies such as 5G, AI, robotics, and digital systems to make warehouse operations more efficient, automated, safe, and data-driven.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the implementation of new warehouse management systems and technologies.
  • Use Power BI, Python, and SQL to support data-driven improvements.
  • Help prepare facilities for new system implementations.
  • Train warehouse employees on new systems, processes, and tools.
  • Create training materials and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues during system implementations.
  • Provide ongoing support for modern warehouse technologies.
  • Work closely with warehouse, operations, engineering, and IT teams.
  • Travel to facilities in Illinois, Indiana, and Canada as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in an operations or engineering environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work with data and learn new technology quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience supporting operations or engineering teams.
  • Experience training employees on processes, systems, or best practices.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems or other technical/IT tools.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, operations, or engineering experience is a plus., This role is a great opportunity for a recent Data Analytics or Business Analytics graduate who wants to apply their technical skills in a real-world manufacturing and warehouse environment. Candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, operations, SAP, SQL, Python, or Power BI experience will stand out.
