Job description

Work Schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote. Will work on biweekly releases, would require Monday or Tuesday nights to support., We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modern Java development, React, cloud-native technologies, databases, and business process management platforms. This role requires participation in a fast-paced Agile environment with biweekly production releases., * Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and React.

  • Develop and support business process management solutions using platforms such as IBM BPM, Pega, or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Build and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-native applications.
  • Work with MongoDB and other data technologies to support application functionality and performance.
  • Deploy and support applications in OCP (OpenShift) and Kubernetes environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Operations.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and engineering standards.
  • Support biweekly production releases, including providing after-hours support on Monday or Tuesday evenings as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • 5-10 years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java (version 15 or newer).
  • 3+ years of experience with React.
  • 3+ years of experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience with OpenShift (OCP) and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing or supporting Business Process Management (BPM) applications, including platforms such as:
  • IBM BPM
  • Pega
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with .NET development.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering, including creating prompts, playbooks, workflows, or operational guidance leveraging AI technologies.
  • Experience with AutoSys job scheduling and automation.
  • Experience supporting production environments and release management activities.
