Job description

Job Purpose: This position is responsible for accurately analyzing data using Financial, OSINT, SIGINT, and GEOSPATIAL sources to create clear, concise documentation and probable results.

Essential Duties:

  • Research and compiles data and tracks criminal trends; analyzes findings and writes comprehensive reports in a timely manner.
  • Conduct forensic analyst on data retrieved from Aventiv Technologies
  • Develops and maintains liaisons at multiple levels to provide information on criminal activities or suspected criminal activities.
  • Support the State DOC and Company Personnel by communicating the progress and any issues of all cases.
  • Lead challenging projects and timelines; assisting with producing and presenting PowerPoints, case studies and advanced intelligence reports, determining cause, and provide solutions to correct the problem.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and developmental assistance for Entry-Level and Junior Intelligence Analyst
  • Provide advice and assistance to IAs on more difficult or complex cases and assignments
  • Attends and participates in department and other meetings as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and/or required

Requirements

  • Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly

  • Ability to ask effective questions and present information clearly and concisely

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work, in response to needs of the system being supported.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years’ experience analyzing data, identifying trends and patterns, and developing trend charts/graphs, and writing summary reports Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
  • Demonstrated experience with correctional specific databases including Record Management Systems, Offender Management Systems, Visiting and Disciplinary records.
  • Understanding of OSINT, SIGINT, and GEOSPATIAL
