Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end technical architecture for the CarePath 2.0 Data Platform. This role will own the overall solution design, ensuring architectural consistency across data ingestion, transformation, governance, integration, and data consumption layers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure Data Platform technologies, Microsoft Fabric, Medallion Architecture, and enterprise integration patterns, along with strong domain experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM). Candidates with Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry experience will also be considered. The Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to define scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that support enterprise data modernization initiatives., * Own the end-to-end technical solution architecture for the CarePath 2.0 Data Platform.

  • Define and implement the target-state data architecture using Medallion Architecture (Bronze $B”(J Silver $B”(J Gold) on Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions for enterprise analytics and reporting.
  • Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and provide architectural governance across multiple workstreams.
  • Define enterprise integration patterns and data flow strategies across:

  • CarePath
  • New Leaf
  • DEG
  • Pharma Navigator
  • Resolve cross-functional technical dependencies and ensure architectural alignment across delivery teams.
  • Establish standards for data governance, data quality, security, metadata management, and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into enterprise solutions.
  • Mentor technical teams and promote architecture best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Data Architect.
  • Mandatory experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
  • Strong experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical domain.
  • Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-based architectures.
  • Hands-on expertise with:

  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • OneLake
  • Delta Lake
  • Medallion Architecture
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with data governance, security, compliance, and master data management.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and modern analytics platforms.
  • Experience leading architecture governance and technical design reviews.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
