VMware NSX Administrator - Hybrid

As a VMware NSX Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of VMware NSX-T environments supporting enterprise network virtualization initiatives. You will ensure the security, stability, performance, and scalability of virtualized network infrastructure while collaborating with network, security, and systems teams to support modernization efforts and operational excellence., * Design, deploy, configure, and administer VMware NSX-T environments.

• Manage logical switching, routing, load balancing, distributed firewall policies, and network virtualization components.
• Implement and maintain micro-segmentation strategies to enhance security across virtual workloads.
• Perform NSX platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and logs using VMware and third-party monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving network overlays, transport nodes, edge appliances, and physical network integrations.
• Collaborate with network, server, and security teams to support architecture design, platform enhancements, and infrastructure deployments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, topology diagrams, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Create automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and disaster recovery readiness.

• Strong experience designing, implementing, and administering VMware NSX-T environments.
• Expertise in network virtualization, logical routing, logical switching, distributed firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience implementing micro-segmentation and enterprise network security policies.
• Strong understanding of VMware infrastructure technologies and data center networking concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting NSX overlays, transport zones, edge nodes, and network connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including VLANs, BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
