Job description

As a Design Engineer Systems & Maintenance, you are responsible for developing aircraft modifications that meet both customer requirements and airworthiness regulations. You play a vital role throughout the engineering lifecycle, from initial design and certification activities to production support and aircraft testing.

Working within our Systems Engineering team, you will contribute to a wide variety of projects involving commercial, VIP, special mission and defense aircraft. Your expertise ensures that modifications are safe, compliant and maintainable throughout the aircraft lifecycle.

You will become part of our Systems Engineering team, consisting of approximately 17 engineers with diverse technical backgrounds and expertise. The team is based across our locations in Woensdrecht and Hoofddorp and works closely together on a broad range of aircraft modification and certification projects.

As part of the Systems team, you will:

  • Develop aircraft modifications in accordance with customer requirements and EASA/FAA regulations
  • Create engineering specifications, certification documentation and compliance reports
  • Support production teams during aircraft modification and installation activities
  • Participate in system and aircraft testing, including both ground and flight tests
  • Develop and maintain Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA)
  • Apply MSG-3 maintenance principles to ensure maintainability of aircraft systems
  • Collaborate with certification engineers, design engineers and production teams to deliver successful projects, We are pioneers with courage. Requirements

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with strong technical capabilities and a passion for aviation engineering., * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft modification design
  • Knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations and applicable aerospace standards
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and CATIA
  • Experience with MSG-3 methodology and ICA development
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the Dutch language
  • Experience within a Part 21 Design Organization
  • Familiarity with aircraft certification processes
