Solution Architect

Reworld is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of strategic customer-facing solutions built on Salesforce Experience Cloud. This role will be responsible for driving the technical vision and execution of a large-scale customer payments initiative, integrating Salesforce with multiple ERP systems, payment gateways, middleware platforms, and enterprise services.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect and self-starter who can independently engage business and technical stakeholders, facilitate workshops, define architecture, build proof-of-concepts, and provide technical leadership across architects, senior developers, and integration teams.

The architect will play a key role in delivering a seamless customer payment experience spanning Salesforce, NetSuite, PeopleSoft, payment processors, Data Hub, and AWS-based integration services., * Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Own end-to-end architecture for Salesforce Experience Cloud and enterprise integrations.
• Define scalable, secure, high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and implementation planning.
• Establish integration, security, and data architecture patterns.
• Provide technical leadership to architects, technical leads, developers, and vendor teams.
• Drive design decisions and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Payments & Customer Portal Expertise
• Design and implement customer-facing payment capabilities within Salesforce Experience Cloud.
• Architect integrations with payment gateways, processors, and ERP platforms.
• Define solutions supporting invoice payments, payment status tracking, transaction history, ACH and credit card processing, and customer self-service capabilities.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with PCI-compliance requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend payment architecture approaches, including API-based and hosted payment experiences.
• Enterprise Integration Leadership

• Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and: o NetSuite o PeopleSoft o AWS Services o Middleware/Data Hub platforms o Third-party payment providers o Enterprise APIs

• Establish API governance, authentication, security, and monitoring standards.
• Lead integration design for real-time and batch synchronization requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Discovery
• Lead architecture workshops and requirement discovery sessions.
• Partner directly with business, finance, billing, customer service, and IT leadership teams.
• Translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Independently manage discussions with executive and senior stakeholders.
• Present architecture options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Proof of Concept & Innovation
• Build and lead technical proof-of-concepts to validate architecture decisions.
• Evaluate third-party technologies and platform capabilities.
• Drive solution innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify architecture and reduce implementation risk., * Define and own the technical architecture for Reworld’s customer payment platform.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and architecture discovery efforts.
• Build and validate solution proof-of-concepts.
• Guide technical leads and senior developers throughout delivery.
• Drive successful implementation of Salesforce Experience Cloud, payment, and ERP integration solutions.
• Serve as the trusted technical advisor for customer-facing digital transformation initiatives.

• Salesforce
• 10 years of Salesforce experience.
• 5 years in Salesforce Technical Architect or Solution Architect roles.

• Deep expertise with: o Salesforce Experience Cloud o Apex o Lightning Web Components (LWC) o Integration Architecture o Security & Identity o Salesforce Platform Design

• Payments & Financial Systems
• Proven experience implementing payment gateway or payment processor integrations.
• Experience designing online payment solutions for customer-facing applications.
• Strong understanding of payment processing workflows and transaction lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with PCI-compliant architecture patterns.
• ERP & Enterprise Integrations

• Hands-on integration experience with: o NetSuite o PeopleSoft o SAP or Oracle ERP (preferred)

• Strong experience with: o REST APIs o Middleware platforms o Event-driven architecture o AWS services and integration patterns

• Leadership & Communication
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to lead distributed technical teams and vendors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight., * Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
• Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications.
• AWS Solution Architect certification.
• Experience with customer portals, self-service platforms, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading global or hybrid onshore/offshore delivery teams.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all Canada locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
