Our partner, an innovative technology company active in the AI and SaaS space, is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to strengthen their engineering team.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will join a highly motivated engineering team and contribute to the development of a scalable AI-driven platform.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and improving backend services, mainly using TypeScript and Node.js.

You will work on core product features, architecture improvements and technical challenges linked to scalability, performance and reliability.

You will also actively participate in product discussions, technical decisions and prioritization sessions, having a real influence on both the technical direction and product evolution. Backend Software Engineer | The profile

Requirements

  • You have a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in backend development
  • You have strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
  • You have experience designing scalable backend solutions and APIs
  • You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and making pragmatic technical decisions
  • Experience with AI-driven applications, prompt engineering or machine learning concepts is a strong plus
  • You are curious, proactive and eager to learn new technologies
  • You are fluent in Englishand speak Dutch or French
