You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain innovative solutions using Node.js, React, and cloud-native technologies. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software that enhances customer experiences and business performance. Key Responsibilities + Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and modern frameworks such as Express or NestJS. + Build responsive, user-friendly, and accessible front-end applications using React and TypeScript. + Integrate third-party services, APIs, and microservices architectures. + Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions. + Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices. + Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. + Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. + Support CI/CD processes and cloud deployments across AWS and Azure environments. + Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and delivery activities. Requirements + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. + 5+ years of professional software development experience. + Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. + Solid hands-on experience with Node.js and React development. + Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. + Knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases. + Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure. + Experience working with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development practices. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Nice to Have + Experience with NestJS, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks. + Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. + Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. + Exposure to travel, retail, or e-commerce platforms. + Understanding of SOAP/XML integrations and legacy systems. + Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance optimization. + Spanish language skills.
