Job description

In this role, you are responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting the entire range of TradeMarks products as well as several Private Labels in our Product Cataloguing systems. You will keep the product data and cataloguing data of our own brands and private label product data up-to-date and consistent in various databases (e.g., LIS, PIM, ADMIN, TecDoc, X-checker, etc.). Analyzing data across different systems to identify and correct discrepancies and inconsistencies. This work is primarily done using Excel., * You assist in optimizing cataloguing processes and data flows. You ensure that data efficiently and accurately flows from our internal systems to various other systems such as websites, platforms, customer portals, etc.

  • You support various data update processes and always do so within the agreed timelines.
  • You ensure top-quality cataloguing product data, which adds value for our customers.
  • You configure data into the formats desired by customers and the various digital formats used in automotive industry catalogues.
  • You support both the Product and Marketing teams with analyses and overviews of the cataloguing product data.
  • Additionally, you play a crucial role in developing and implementing data management processes and procedures to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • You work closely with the managers of the various databases and other colleagues on data and database optimization and maintenance. You take action where necessary.
  • You serve as a backup for the product data specialists.
  • Moreover, you will have the opportunity to grow in your role and take responsibility for (sub)projects within the Product Cataloguing processes

Requirements

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have some experience in Data Management (1-5 years), preferably in the Automotive and/or Chemical sector.
  • You possess excellent computer skills:
  • Excel: advanced (knowledge of pivots, vlookups, concatenates, comparing different data files, etc.)
  • Access DB: basic, i.e., loading tables (manually or via import), basic queries, etc.
  • Knowledge of cataloguing data systems is an advantage: PIM, TecDoc, X-checker.
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English. Any other language is a plus.
  • You are interested in quality product information, have a keen eye for detail, and work very accurately. You are also eager to continuously expand your knowledge.
  • You prefer a structured approach to task follow-up and are capable of working independently. At the same time, you are a team player who relies on and draws upon the expertise of colleagues to help you in your daily tasks.
  • You possess good and detailed analytical skills. You are able to work with data from different sources that are not 100% identical and find ways to link this data from various sources.
  • You can set priorities, enabling you to consistently achieve the set objectives and deadlines.
  • Additionally, you are an innovative thinker, always looking for improvements and opportunities in the market. Your organizational skills allow you to effectively manage projects and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
