Cybersecurity Engineer

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization’s digital assets. You will work closely with IT, operations, and other teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems from cyber threats., * Threat Analysis: Identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

• Security Architecture: Design and implement secure network architectures, systems, and applications.
• Risk Management: Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans and coordinate responses to potential security breaches.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor security systems and tools, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all phases of development and operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure continuous enhancement of our security posture.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field., * 6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information security, or a related discipline., * Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Familiarity with encryption technologies, authentication methods, and access control principles.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
