Job description

Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop new features, security controls, tooling and automation to improve cybersecurity, resilience and reliability.
  • Build AI agents and other solutions to support vulnerability analysis, security remediation and cyber resilience.
  • Develop integrations and onboard new tools across the wider technology ecosystem, ensuring alignment with architectural and security standards.
  • Support DevOps, service delivery, automated testing, observability and on-call activities across the build-and-run environment.
  • Collaborate with Technology stakeholders through design discussions, code reviews and Agile ceremonies to continuously improve services.
  • Share knowledge, documentation and best practices across the HashiVault squad and wider Data Protection Services team.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python, Golang and Python Programming, with a background in Back End, full-stack or AI agent development.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and Kubernetes, including Helm.
  • Exposure to AI agent technologies such as MCP, A2A and Vector Databases, with an understanding of memory and context management.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform, alongside Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, observability and reliability practices, including Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, SLOs and incident response.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles covering encryption, secrets management, CVE remediation, authentication, authorisation and PKI, combined with strong communication skills.
