Job description
As a senior member of the Information Assurance team, you’ll provide expert advice across a broad portfolio of technology and business change projects.
Working closely with architects, technical specialists and suppliers, you’ll review solution designs, assess technical risk and ensure Secure by Design principles are embedded throughout the technology lifecycle. You’ll help teams balance security with operational delivery, providing practical, risk-based advice that enables secure outcomes.
You’ll also contribute to security standards, support supplier assurance, assist with audits and security incidents, and mentor colleagues across the wider Information Assurance function.
Requirements
You’ll have experience in Information Security, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Security Architecture or Technical Security within a complex or highly regulated environment.
You’ll ideally bring experience of:
- Information Security, Information Assurance, Cyber Security or Security Architecture
- Secure by Design and security design reviews
- Cloud, infrastructure and enterprise security
- Technical risk assessment and security assurance
- NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27001 or similar security standards
- Working closely with architects, engineers and project delivery teams
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISMP, CISM or equivalent
Experience gained within government, defence, emergency services, critical national infrastructure or other highly regulated organisations would be advantageous. We’re also keen to hear from candidates with transferable experience gained in other complex environments.
