Job description

We are partnering with a growing Financial Services organisation seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer to join their technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional with strong automation testing expertise to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical Salesforce applications and associated platforms.

Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will work closely with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and key business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that support the organisation’s strategic objectives., * Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce and integrated business applications.

  • Perform both manual and automated testing across new developments, enhancements, integrations, and production releases.
  • Build, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and regression test suites.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce Developers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Validate backend data and integrations using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
  • Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
  • Support release coordination activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and tooling.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance covering both manual and automated testing.
  • Experience testing complex, business-critical platforms such as Salesforce CRM, financial services systems, or similar enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on automation testing experience using Selenium, SpecFlow (C# or Java), or comparable automation frameworks.
  • Solid SQL skills with experience performing backend data validation and database testing.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).
  • Experience supporting release management and deployment activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits & conditions

  • £50,000 to £65,000 GBP
