Job description
You operate as the electronic development representative in a multidisciplinary team and make sure the various electronic products are integrated in a structured way.
- You influence the definition and design of electronic developments on diagnostics, testability, manufacturability and reliability.
- You make the work breakdown and effort estimation for the integration of the various electronic products, and you specify and document the test requirements.
- You design and document the qualification tools used for integration purposes.
- You execute experiments on test set-ups and prototype machines to ensure the documented results meet the requirements set by the architect.
- You work together with the EMC competence on tests at subsystem level.
- You use your early knowledge of system behaviour to help solve problems during full proto integration.
- You transfer knowledge to production and service engineers and act as an expert in fourth-line support.
- You analyse and solve reliability issues.
- You act as a technical coach for other integrators and team members.
You report to the group leader of the electronic development team and work alongside architects, developers and integrators from other disciplines.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
- Multiple years of experience as an integrator, test engineer or project engineer for electronic or electrical functions, or in industrial automation;
- Broad technical knowledge of electronics, with interest in physics, mechanics and software;
- Comfortable using test and measurement equipment;
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or C++, or the ability to pick these up quickly;
- Fluent English in word and writing.

- A gross monthly salary between € 4,300 and € 4,800 based on a 40-hour working week, depending on knowledge and experience;
- A regular day shift and one day per week working from home;
