Senior Java Developer

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Testers, Developers, and technical stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, translate Jira stories into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software through modern CI/CD practices.

Experience with Angular and TypeScript is highly desirable, providing opportunities to contribute to Front End development and enhance UI capabilities., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices

• Review and analyse Jira user stories and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Work closely with Business Analysts to refine, clarify, and elaborate requirements
• Collaborate with Testers throughout the software development life cycle
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
• Contribute to system design, technical discussions, and code reviews
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS tooling
• Follow coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Produce and maintain technical documentation using Confluence
• Contribute to continuous improvement across development processes, tooling, automation, and code quality

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Senior Java Developer with 8+ years of Java development experience, capable of taking ownership of a Jira story from initial requirement analysis through to design, development, testing, and deployment.

You should have strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, and automated testing, together with the ability to work closely with Business Analysts and Testers in an Agile environment.

Experience with Angular and TypeScript will be a significant advantage, enabling contribution across both Back End and Front End development where required.
