Job description

Develop and maintain PHP backend systems for high-traffic consumer products.

Design and operate scalable, production-grade systems.
Build and manage APIs with strong client-server communication and support for mobile API versioning.
Work with MySQL databases, caching solutions, distributed systems, and high-availability architectures.
Utilize gRPC/Protocol Buffers for efficient service communication.
Leverage tools and platforms such as GCP, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor system health, optimize performance, and manage incidents effectively.
Integrate and manage monetization/payment functionalities, including subscriptions and in-app purchases.
Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Design, and Mobile Engineering teams.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to enhance productivity.

Requirements

(Preferred) Apply knowledge of Aerospike, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.

(Preferred) Support large monolithic application management and cloud migration projects.
(Preferred) Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy best practices.
(Preferred) Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
