The Workday Practice
Alpha’s Workday Practice sits within MCO and specializes in Workday implementation, optimization, solution health assessments, release readiness, and Application Management Services (AMS). The practice works closely with Alpha’s broader advisory, data, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions and provide continuity from strategy and design through implementation and ongoing support., Build, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations, custom reports, and data transformations based on approved technical designs and specifications. The Senior Consultant is a hands-on technical delivery resource across integration development, testing, troubleshooting, and data conversion support., * Integration Build: Develop integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and APIs based on approved technical specifications.
- Technical Requirements & Design Support: Participate in discovery and technical design sessions, document interface requirements, data mappings, dependencies, and technical decisions.
- Data Transformation: Develop and maintain XML/XSLT transformations, validation logic, error handling, and file-format conversions required by integrations.
- Technical Testing: Conduct unit and integration testing, troubleshoot transmission and authentication failures, resolve data-formatting issues, and support defect remediation.
- Data Loading: Support functional teams during conversion cycles by preparing and executing technical loads, validating results, and troubleshooting load failures.
- Reporting: Build and support Workday reports and calculated fields required for integrations, reconciliation, operational reporting, and downstream data consumption.
- Documentation & Deployment: Maintain technical specifications, mappings, test evidence, deployment steps, and support documentation; assist with cutover and production validation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical leads, functional teams, client technology resources, and third-party vendors to resolve integration dependencies and delivery issues., Lead customer implementations of SOPHiA GENETICS genomic analysis solutions, from planning and sample selection through configuration, training, adoption, and issue resolution. Manage MaxCare Program schedules, timelines, sampling strategies, Statements of Work, technical setup, and cross-functional delivery. Translate laboratory, bioinformatics, data, and clinical regulatory requirements into practical solutions while building trusted customer relationships. The field-based US role includes approximately 30% travel. Requirements
- 3-5 years of technical Workday development experience.
- Hands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, XML, XSLT, and API mechanics.
- Strong understanding of integration testing, troubleshooting, error handling, and data validation.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and independently execute assigned development tasks.
Workday Certifications
- Active Workday Creating and Securing Integrations, Workday Studio, and Workday Reporting certifications.

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 USD, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
