Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join the integration platform team. This is a hands-on, technical role serving as the platform owner for a MuleSoft portfolio, driving technical delivery and modernization initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to work with integration technologies and AI-powered tools in a remote environment., * Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.

  • Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.
  • Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
  • Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
  • Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-powered development tools.
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional software development and integration experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
  • Experience with Google Apigee API management.
  • Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
  • Proven ownership of complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Preferred: Hospitality or travel industry knowledge.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI-powered development tools and platforms.
  • Preferred: MuleSoft or integration technology certifications.
  • Preferred: Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: Background in microservices architecture.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2, Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
