Job description

In this role, you will work across the full product life cycle - analyzing user needs; designing and developing UI components, backend systems, database interfaces, and web applications; and automated testing. You will also help shape the next generation of our tooling by integrating Agentic AI methodologies into our products. This is a great opportunity for a versatile engineer who enjoys working close to processor and architecture teams while building tools that developers rely on every day., * Design, develop, and maintain

  • Components of an Eclipse-based IDE product that provides sophisticated functionality for processor designers
  • Web REST API servlets that support remote product functionality connecting to systems and databases
  • Web applications supporting both customers and internal infrastructure
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance.
  • Evolve SQL and other databases to support future functionality
  • Engineer tests and integrate features into new releases; support application teams during test phases.
  • Incorporate Agentic AI workflows into product features and design.
  • Collaborate with hardware, architecture, IDE and support teams to enable and deliver new features.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science or a related field + 5 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of related experience
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to take initiative

Benefits & conditions

The annual salary range for California is $136,500 to $253,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
