In this role you will work closely with software, security, and mission engineers to deliver ultra-reliable, and scalable ground-systems that enable continuous infrared surveillance and missile-warning capabilities for legacy and next-gen satellite constellations.

- Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or otherelectrical components.
- Develops designs for the installation of components and assembliesinto chassis, racks, cabinets,workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters.
- Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met.

Requirements
- Previous Hardware Engineering experience in mechanical/electrical design
- Knowledgeable in Hardware Engineering processes and tools.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required for consideration. Ability to obtain/maintain SCI also required.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Hardware Engineer).
- Experienced with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
- Experience with operational ground systems
- Be a team player and work in a collaborative team environment
- Desire to work in a fast paced, mission-focused environment
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
- Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
