Job description

  • Develop and implement sophisticated models to optimize production volumes and drilling processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into operational workflows.
  • Utilize machine learning and statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Deploy models end-to-end, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in the Oil and Gas industry as a Data Scientist.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist.

Proficiency in Python programming.

Proven experience in end-to-end model deployment.

Expertise in creating machine learning models.

Strong background in statistical modeling using Bayesian inference, particularly with PyMC.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.

Knowledge of GitHub actions and advanced CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience with oil and gas economic modeling.

Familiarity with Aries software for well economics.

Experience working with SCADA systems.

Background in field engineering.
