The Director of Solution Consulting, Enterprise Geo is responsible for managing a team of Presales Managers and Presales Solution Consultants (individual contributors) who support our field sales teams in the Geo (non-vertical) space. This team discovers and understands customer business challenges, complex processes, and architectural landscapes in order to build world-class integrated solutions leveraging Docusignâs platform and suite of products. Through engaging stories and custom-built demonstrations, these subject matter experts illustrate the value and benefits of modernizing a prospectâs agreement process through Docusignâs Agreement Platform offerings. The Director is accountable for coaching and developing Managers and individual contributors, helping them to drive adoption and usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director of Presales Solution Consulting, Geo.
Responsibility
- Be the Enterprise Geo industry thought leader representing Docusignâs solutions to the market
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to create and execute on go-to-market strategies
- Lead a team of varying skilled and tenured professionals across North America, expanding Docusignâs presence in the Geo market
- Empower and coach team to uncover, comprehend, and document complex business challenges and insights, enterprise architecture, and product roadmap presentations
- Direct opportunity engagement and skills alignment with Docusignâs Enterprise accounts
- Drive excellence in knowledge, engagement and interactions inter-team, with customers and our field
- Provide subject matter mentoring and training to the team
- Provide input and influence the creation of product demo video assets
- Partner with product management to address product developments, releases and functionality
- Support marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc., and participate in speaking engagements to provide Docusignâs point of view on industry solutions
- Stay current on competitive analyses and understand market differentiators between the company and its competitors across the team
- Provide voice-of-the-business internal to Docusign driving market strategy and competitive take outs
- Lead with business outcomes and ROI, comfortable with VP/C-level buyers, and coach SCs to sell value before features
- Enforce internal SLAs, keep deals and POCs from stalling, and create urgency without burning out the team
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Requirements
- 10+ years overall experience in SaaS presales
- First and second line people management experience within software presales
- BA/BS in a business or a technical-related field of study from an accredited college or university
Preferred
- Strong understanding of most commonly used software (Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Quickbooks, Workday, ProCore, etc.)
- Demonstrated thought leadership collateral and public speaking
- Track record of building, coaching and enabling a rapidly growing team
- Proven experience working with employees at all levels of an organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Proven success in selling SaaS solutions and leading teams that sell SaaS products
- Familiarity with Enterprise-class software systems such as ERP, CRM, and ECM
- Familiarity with electronic signature concepts
- Willingness to travel 50% or more as needed
Benefits & conditions
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $195,000.00 - $293,000.00 base salary
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $186,100.00 - $269,800.00 base salary
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $186,100.00 - $282,750.00 base salary
Washington DC: $195,000.00 - $282,750.00 base salary
Ohio: $176,900.00 - $256,475.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
