Job description

We are currently seeking a Network Administrator 2nd shift (2PM to 10PM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. Apply today to become part of the Leidos team that is assisting CESO as they migrate to a high security cloud environment by leading day to day operations activities and incident response for assigned shift.

Requirements

  • Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance\n
  • Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.\n
  • BS in computer science or IT and 4+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree\n
  • Comfortable working 24×7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\n
  • Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability\n
  • Experience in configuring switches and routers.\n
  • Experience working with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)\n
  • Ability to change and configure 802.1x\n
  • Prior experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels connection.\n
  • Experience conducting VLAN configurations\n, * Prior experience with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners\n
  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred\n
  • AWS Cloud service experience\n
  • Experience with Palo Alto devices\n

n This position is based in Arlington, VA and is 100% on-site. This position is scheduled to support evening shift (AKA 2nd shift), 2pm-10pm.\n \n Primary Responsibilities:\n \n \n

  • Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.\n
  • Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.\n
  • Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.\n
  • Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.\n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors\n
  • Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software\n
