Job description
We want you to support the FBM Program by joining the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team as a Systems Integration Engineer.
The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform mechanical interface definition, documentation, and change management
- Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning, and execution
- Perform analysis to evaluate interface compatibility and coordinate solutions to resolve discrepancies
- Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews
- Lead and mentor a team of system integrators, Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering
- Advanced CREO proficiency
- Experience with mechanical integration
- Design experience utilizing Model Based Engineering tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Missile/Space Weapons Systems Experience
- Proven self-starter with demonstrated capability to proactively work through difficult technical, project and resource challenges
- 12+ years of experience in large program Configuration, assembly, and design integrations
- Demonstrated performance of bringing program through development reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Strong full spectrum leadership with demonstrated experience in leading teams and working cross Integrated Product Teams by building effective relationships
- Experience with integrating large assembly models, deconflicting interferences across components, and successfully releasing usable assembly level models to the program
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
- Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
