Power Platform Architects and Developers - Tech Consulting - EY Mauritius

Your role is a key contributor to all facets of the delivery process aligned to this strategy. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform stack. You will also work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications that enhance productivity and efficiency, * Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps to meet business needs.

• Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights into business performance.
• Designing and building new features and enhancements for our existing tools.
• Optimizing throughput and scaling our distributed systems to handle massive spikes in traffic and requests.
• Working closely with other engineers, architects and product managers to create innovative solutions that continue to push the boundaries of our business.
• Ensure best practices in application development, including security, performance, and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of the Power Platform and recommend improvements.
• Participating in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.
• Taking initiative, staying focused: being accountable. Thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to focus on achieving the target while minding longer term goals along the way.

• Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and other data sources.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Dynamics CRM is a plus.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications.
• Experience performing code reviews for team members to ensure quality assurance of the code
• Ability to execute process and standards around code quality and the deployment lifecycle.
• Ability to learn and develop using latest technologies.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• BSC in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform (PL-900, PL-400, PL-300, PL-200) is a plus
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Up-to-date knowledge of technologies, frameworks, tools and experience selecting the correct technologies, frameworks and tools for a particular problem
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work flexible hours to align with clients.
