Requirements

Responsibilities:</b></p><p>MITRE Lead Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, testing, validation, and modernization of high quality of service, secure, resilient, and scalable Air Force network environments spanning WAN, CAN, and secure Government cloud use cases. Opportunities exist to merge Air Force networks to achieve costs savings and optimization of transport. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, strong collaboration, technical rigor, and the ability to translate sponsor and mission needs into practical engineering solutions. The role requires familiarity with Intelligence Communities architectures and Air Force acquisition processes.</p><p></p><p>Basic Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.</li><li>Must have an active Top Secret/SCI U.S Government issued Security Clearance. Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance.</li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering related discipline, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.</li><li>Professional or expert level networking certification(s).</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):</p>Top Secret/SCI<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following
