Responsibilities:</b></p><p>MITRE Lead Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, testing, validation, and modernization of high quality of service, secure, resilient, and scalable Air Force network environments spanning WAN, CAN, and secure Government cloud use cases. Opportunities exist to merge Air Force networks to achieve costs savings and optimization of transport. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, strong collaboration, technical rigor, and the ability to translate sponsor and mission needs into practical engineering solutions. The role requires familiarity with Intelligence Communities architectures and Air Force acquisition processes.</p><p></p><p>Basic Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.</li><li>Must have an active Top Secret/SCI U.S Government issued Security Clearance.
