- Monitor network performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections
- Support VLAN configuration, IP addressing, and subnetting
- Ensure reliable DNS and DHCP services
- Implement and maintain network security best practices
- Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure upgrades and projects
- Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
- Perform routine system updates, patching, and optimization
Skills
- Cisco networking (routers, switches, IOS configuration)
- TCP/IP fundamentals and subnetting
- Firewalls and network security (e.g., access control, VPNs)
- DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory integration
- Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark)
- VLAN configuration and network segmentation
- Troubleshooting latency, outages, and packet loss
- SD-WAN and hybrid network environments
- Cloud networking basics (AWS, Azure connectivity)
- Incident response and escalation handling
- Infrastructure documentation and reporting
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireshark?, * Experience in network administration or IT infrastructure support
