Network Administrator

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections
• Support VLAN configuration, IP addressing, and subnetting
• Ensure reliable DNS and DHCP services
• Implement and maintain network security best practices
• Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure upgrades and projects
• Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and optimization

Skills

• Cisco networking (routers, switches, IOS configuration)
• TCP/IP fundamentals and subnetting
• Firewalls and network security (e.g., access control, VPNs)
• DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory integration
• Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark)
• VLAN configuration and network segmentation
• Troubleshooting latency, outages, and packet loss
• SD-WAN and hybrid network environments
• Cloud networking basics (AWS, Azure connectivity)
• Incident response and escalation handling
• Infrastructure documentation and reporting
