Job description
As our POCT Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant point-of-care testing conducted by non-laboratory clinical staff. You’ll:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate POCT procedures
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all testing sites
- Support quality programs aligned with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Provide training, oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Are you a detail-oriented lab professional with a passion for quality and education? University Health is looking for a dynamic POCT Coordinator to help shape and oversee the point-of-care testing program across our health system., * Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a relevant biological/medical science
- OR a Bachelor’s in business/healthcare administration with 5+ years of clinical lab testing experience
- Completion of a CAHEA-approved clinical training program
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on lab testing experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other data tools
- Experience in training, auditing, or lab quality assurance is a plus
