Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily build and logistics activities, ensuring server rack placements, component installations, and material movements are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule

  • Oversee the assembly and installation of electronic components, cabling, and hardware inside server racks following schematics, diagrams, and SOPs

  • Verify server rack placement on the data center floor using laser measurement tools to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials, confirming correct part numbers, quantities, and condition

  • Manage freight loading and unloading operations and ensure shipping documentation and inventory records are accurate

  • Perform and oversee daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment of critical spares, PPE, and build materials

  • Process RMA and return shipments through warehouse management systems

  • Install hardware using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices while maintaining documentation

  • Operate material handling equipment including straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant build area by upholding 5S standards and safety requirements

  • Assign tasks, monitor team performance, conduct self-checks and peer audits, and support continuous improvement

  • Assist with training team members on installation techniques, equipment handling, documentation accuracy, and safety procedures

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align build schedules and resolve issues

  • Perform additional data center, warehouse, and assembly duties as needed, including heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of leadership or team-lead experience in a warehouse, production, or data center environment

  • Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and measurement tools

  • Experience with inventory control, quality assurance, and warehouse management systems

  • Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and SOPs with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills

  • Knowledge of 5S standards and safe work practices preferred

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull materials frequently throughout the shift

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Reliable transportation to the USA Parkway area

  • Must pass a national background check (no felonies ever; no misdemeanors within the past 7 years)

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
