AWS Solution Architect

• Technical Architecture & Design: Lead software design decisions and establish technical standards for cloud-based solutions in the telco domain, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry regulations.

• Cloud Projects Leadership: Oversee design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and migration projects, working with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent platforms to modernize legacy systems. * AI-Assisted Development: Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted development tools and practices into development workflows, mentoring the team on leveraging AI for code generation, testing, and optimization.

• Data Migrations: Lead complex data migration initiatives across BSS/OSS systems, ensuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and successful adoption of new platforms.

• BSS Domain Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Business Support Systems (BSS) domains, including commerce, catalog management, billing, and order management systems specific to telecommunications providers.

• Cross-Timezone Team Leadership: Coordinate and mentor engineering teams distributed across multiple time zones, fostering collaboration, ensuring alignment on technical direction, and removing blockers.

• Executive Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear executive summaries for C-level stakeholders; present technical trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

• Code Quality & Delivery: Implement code changes and champion best practices across Python, Java, and/or TypeScript codebases; establish code review standards and CI/CD pipelines.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Leader, Staff Engineer, or Senior Engineer in software development or infrastructure roles.

• Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and managing applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent).

• Telecommunications Industry Experience: Proven background working in the telco/telecom sector, including understanding of BSS/OSS systems, telecom business models, and telco-specific regulatory requirements.

• Software Design & Architecture: Strong background in software design principles, design patterns, and architectural decision-making for distributed systems.

• Data Migrations: Hands-on experience leading or executing large-scale data migration projects with minimal service disruption.

• Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise implementing code changes in at least one of: Python, Java, or TypeScript.

• Communication Excellence:

• Ability to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and executives. * Proven track record of writing clear technical documentation and executive summaries. * Strong presentation skills.

• Leadership Across Time Zones: Experience managing and mentoring geographically distributed teams; comfort with asynchronous communication and working across multiple time zones. * AI-Assisted Development: Understanding of modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, etc.) and experience integrating them into development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetCracker Experience: Hands-on experience with NetCracker platforms or similar BSS/telecom application suites.

• Salesforce Experience: Background implementing or customizing Salesforce systems in a telecommunications or service provider context.

• Additional Cloud Technologies: Kubernetes, microservices architecture, serverless computing, or container orchestration.

• Advanced Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent cloud certifications.
