Job description

Leads ServiceNow development activities for the ServiceNow project, architecting complex technical solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, IRM, SecOps, and custom applications. Provides technical leadership on platform architecture, integration design, and advanced development patterns while mentoring development teams and establishing coding standards. Ensures solutions align with ServiceNow best practices, federal security requirements, and organizational objectives within Agile delivery models., * Develops advanced server side scripting including Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and Fix Scripts.

  • Implements sophisticated client side development using Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Angular components.
  • Designs and develops ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and custom protocols.
  • Develops Flow Designer workflows, subflows, and custom actions automating complex business processes.
  • Implements ServiceNow Service Portal customizations including widgets, themes, and responsive designs.
  • Develops Performance Analytics solutions including indicators, breakdowns, and automated data collection.
  • Implements advanced CMDB configurations, identification rules, and reconciliation policies.
  • Mentors mid-level and junior developers on ServiceNow architecture, development patterns, and best practices.
  • Conducts code reviews ensuring quality, performance, security, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Designs data models, table structures, and relationships supporting application requirements.
  • Implements ServiceNow security controls including ACLs, roles, and data access policies.
  • Collaborates with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders translating requirements into technical solutions.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • ServiceNow development experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification

Requirements

  • Federal government experience
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in multiple modules
  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

Security clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required
