Job description
We are seeking an Application Architect to provide production support for the TIBCO platform, including SOA, BPM, and EMS. The role involves incident management, problem management coordination, and continuous knowledge building. The selected individual will be responsible for implementing process improvements, such as runbooks, monitoring, and alerting, and will work with partner teams to address process and technology gaps to ensure stability., * Provide production support aligned with Global Wealth and Investment Management and Data Analytics for the TIBCO platform.
- Manage incidents, coordinate with problem management, and ensure timely updates and restoration of production application issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including runbooks, monitoring, and alerting.
- Collaborate with partner teams to address process gaps, technology gaps, and stability concerns.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for production support and 24/5 non-production support.
- Support monthly releases to implement new code and changes into the production environment.
- Contribute to engineering, build, and support activities, including OS and database patching.
- Prepare and execute use cases and test cases for product upgrades and hotfixes.
Requirements
Education: A BA/BS Degree is required.
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience is required.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of TIBCO Businessworks, iProcess, EMS, and Hawk.
- Proficiency in programming and debugging with Java, Linux, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of TIBCO SOA/BPM products deployment and administration methodologies.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, and TOAD.
- Understanding of reuse and portability in enterprise solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM.
- Experience with Java and Linux script utilities, including clustering.
- Familiarity with Horizon CI/CD, Ansible, Kafka, XLR, or Terraform.
- ITIL Certification is considered an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
