Work Youâll Do
As an Engineering & Tangible Assets Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on projects to help advise clients to effectively select, deliver, manage, and value fixed assets and infrastructure. You will leverage advanced, technology-enabled solutions to help our clients more confidently make decisions and execute on those decisions to drive performance.
Specific areas of work could include:

Conducting financial reporting and tax planning valuations and analyses to support transactions and strategic investment decisions

Advising clients on business processes, controls, and data management
-
Provide actionable insights through detailed analytics, reports, and creative representations of data
-
Collaborate with clients to assess risks, deploy analytics, and drive informed operational and maintenance decisions
Requirements
-
Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and across Deloitte teams
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
-
Problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills in support of both innovative and operational enhancement opportunities
-
Aptitude for learning and applying new concepts, frameworks, and emerging technologies such as Generative AI
-
Entrepreneurial, innovative, and purpose-driven approach to solving challenges
-
Ability to manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience

A strong understanding of Windows-based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Planner and Primavera Tools

Experience with the analysis of project cost and schedule data using construction industry techniques and software applications, * Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027 pursuing a bachelorâs degree or higher in one of the following majors or a related/equivalent program

Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management

Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)

You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required. You can expect to co-locate on average 30% - 50% of the week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations

Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
