Job description

The Lead Insights Analyst on the Cloud Success Insights Team delivers data-driven, actionable insights and strategic recommendations that empower Cloud Leaders to drive key programs within Customer Success. You’ll provide cross-cloud analytics support to Cloud Success leadership, partnering closely with teams across CSG to turn complex data into clear, executive-ready guidance. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role with direct business impact. You’ll be trusted to respond quickly to questions from senior leaders, and occasionally work outside standard hours to meet that need.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses to answer high-priority business questions
  • Build predictive models and forecasts to support planning and decision-making
  • Conduct variance analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis to explain performance drivers
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Success and Cloud leadership
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear strategic recommendations for executives
  • Own projects end-to-end, from problem framing through executive presentation

Requirements

You must hold a singular U.S. Citizenship and no dual-citizenship with any other countries: Must be a U.S. Citizen operating on U.S. Soil with ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan. Due to the citizenship requirement for this role, which supports U.S. federal, state, and/or local government customers, citizenship will be verified through two of the following REAL ID Act documents: U.S. Passport, Passport Card, REAL Driver’s License, Global Entry Card, U.S. Government CAC/PIV, * 7-10 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or a related field

  • Degree or equivalent proven experience (extracurricular leadership, military, volunteer, or work experience will be considered)
  • Strong track record of ad-hoc analysis, deep-dive analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting
  • Demonstrated experience in variance analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis
  • Proven business partnering skills - experience acting as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across varying levels of seniority
  • Excellent executive presentation skills - able to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable stories
  • Extensive experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Expertise in a major visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • A curious, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to mentor junior analysts

Nice-to-Haves

  • Direct experience (2+ years) in data engineering
  • Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist/Professional)
  • Experience working with cloud data sources
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies and applying AI to analytics work

This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.

The typical base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $186,300 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
