Job description
Description: Seeking a highly motivated System Architect to support our team. The System Architect will be part of an expanded analytics requirements/solutioning/development team for VA LGY., * Provide AWS and Veterans Administration Enterprise Cloud architecture leadership and guidance to the analytics team.

Identify gaps or problems in clients’ computer systems
-
Establish the client’s business strategy and technical needs
-
Develop IT solutions to meet clients’ needs
-
Determine the cost implications of various solution options
-
Develop plans to show how options will work and communicate plans to the client in an understandable way
-
Ensure plans meet industry regulation specifications
-
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients
-
Provide client feedback in a timely manner to the production department to ensure that product development or modification meets the client’s needs.
Requirements
-
Experience designing data pipelines for AWS EMR/Spark, Glue and Redshift
-
Experience creating end to end automated systems that collects, processes, and stores large volumes of data
-
Architecture design and integration experience
-
Data modeling performance tuning experience
-
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Desired Skills and Experience:
-
Experience supporting federal government programs or VA systems.
-
Familiarity with LGY product line or large-scale enterprise environments.

Current Public Trust Clearance
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
