This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population. This position is based in Arlington, VA and is 100% on-site. 2nd Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 12pm-8pm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation for standard systems operating procedures to be used across the enterprise.

• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

• Analyze available hardware and software from outside vendors and make recommendation for purchase and installation of cost-effective solutions.

• Review work performed by lower-level technical staff.

• Experience with a ticketing system such as BMC Remedy.

• ITIL v3 Foundation certified

• Linux OS experience.

• Solaris OS experience.

• Current opening is on the PM shift currently running from Noon to 8PM.

• If the customer activates the 24/7 option the timing will move to 2PM to 10PM.

• Our environment has a lot of requirement for these positions but our PM shift lead is also our Windows System lead so if the person is a little more junior within the required qualifications they will still have great support in the position.
