Job description

The test automation engineer will partner with an engineering team responsible for building an application for the Research Data Atlas program. The engineer will be responsible for both test automation development as well as manual test case development and execution when required.

Requirements

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or other cloud environments

-Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java.

-Knowledge of scripting languages such as VB Script, Perl, Python, TCL.

-Proficient in test management and automation tools [Quality Center, Playwright, Selenium].

-Clear demonstration of test plan and test case development, Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: A Bachelor of Science degree and at least 3 years of experience in software or test automation development, with 1 year of demonstrated technical experience; or an Associate’s degree and at least 8 years of professional experience in software or test automation development, with 1 year of demonstrated technical experience. Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Java. Knowledge of scripting languages such as VB Script, Perl, Python, TCL. Proficient in test management and automation tools [Quality Center, QTP, LoadRunner, BPT]. Knowledge of SDM tools desired (e.g., IBM Rational tools: ClearQuest, ClearCase, Requisite Pro, Build Forge).
