Job description

As an Assurance Innovation and Technology Software Engineering Associate, you will engage in software and product innovation, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions within our Assurance practice. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on enhancing financial reporting and decision-making processes, providing independent assessments that uphold transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements and projects, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. You will embrace ambiguity, ask questions, and use these challenges as opportunities for growth.

In this role, you will participate in project tasks, develop basic skills and knowledge, and respond effectively to diverse perspectives and needs. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the broader objectives of your projects and understand how your work fits into the overall strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Developing software solutions by applying principles of computer engineering and computer science
  • Engaging in code review processes to enhance software quality and maintain coding standards
  • Collaborating with team members to design and implement software architecture solutions
  • Participating in the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and maintenance
  • Utilizing intellectual curiosity to explore innovative approaches in software engineering
  • Supporting client engagements by providing technical insights and solutions
  • Applying solution architecture skills to meet specific business needs and functional requirements
  • Contributing to teamwork by actively participating in project discussions and decision-making processes
  • Leveraging software design skills to create efficient and scalable software systems
  • Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies in software engineering

Requirements

Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering

  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $104,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
