Job description

Our client is looking for the senior most technical person on their infrastructure team, an individual contributor who owns the health of a cloud first, predominantly Apple environment and leads the projects that push it forward. This is hands on work with real scope. You will run the cloud, identity, endpoint, and network stack day to day while driving the move to centralized identity management, a modern single vendor network, and a Zero Trust access model. There is a clear roadmap, real budget behind it, and a small team that will look to you as the technical authority., * Administer and secure the company’s cloud and SaaS platforms, including Google Workspace, Box, AWS, and Azure

  • Lead the implementation of a centralized identity and access management platform with single sign on, MFA, and automated joiner, mover, and leaver provisioning
  • Manage endpoint and security tooling across a roughly 90% macOS environment, including JAMF, SentinelOne, and Windows MDM
  • Modernize the network toward a single vendor, cloud managed architecture covering firewalls, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN
  • Work inside an ITIL framework to mature documentation, support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 objectives, and mentor junior administrators

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • 7+ years of progressive systems administration, including deep hands on Mac administration and JAMF in a predominantly Apple environment
  • Identity and access management experience across Active Directory and Entra ID plus a modern IdP such as Okta, Ping, or JumpCloud, with SSO, MFA, and lifecycle provisioning
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security and vulnerability management tooling, SIEM support, and ITIL based incident, problem, change, and configuration management
  • Preferred: hands on work with a cloud managed network platform such as Cisco Meraki, and exposure to ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audits
